The Elephant is most likely named after an elephant gun, pointing towards the power of the gun. It is an incredibly powerful weapon, it has a high fire rate, pinpoint accuracy, instakill shot, and high ammo capacity. The downsides of the weapon are primarily it being pump action, and the lack of a scope.
Recommended Strategies
The Elephant is great for almost any range, sniping is often intended, but the pump animation for the gun is incredibly short, making it practical in spray and pray situations as well. Something to note is that many maps give this weapon to both players, so the match is roughly equally risky for both players.
